At first glance, this question looks like to have pronoun reference error.

If look it again, it looks like that it have Idiomatic error too.

However, in reality this question is actually testing the skills about 'Parallelism of Pronouns'.

It's easy to kick out choices (A), (B) and (C).

    (E) can be kicked out on the basis of incorrect IDIOM. So X as to (be) Y is correct IDIOM instead of such X as to be Y

Now question arises how (D) could be correct choice because it seems to have pronoun reference error.

In (D), THEY could refer back to "Stomach Disorders" or "These Drugs".

But rule of parallelism of pronouns states that SUBJECT of 2nd clause should be parallel to subject of 1st clause. And SUBJECT of 2nd clause will refer back to SUBJECT of 1st clause rather than referring back to OBJECT of first clause.

Here, SUBJECT of 2nd clause is THEY. And SUBJECT of 1st clause is "These Drugs". Hence, "They" clearly refer back to "These Drugs".
